Invisible Eyeliner
A permanent makeup treatment that adds a subtle line through the base of your lashes to give your eye natural definition and the illusion of fuller lashes without the use of daily makeup.
Most Frequently Asked Questions & Answers
Consult your expert first—if you have an IOL (Intraocular lens) or had recent eye surgery, you may not be the best candidate for the treatment.
Who's not a good candidate?
Pregnant or nursing
Diabetic (requires doctors clearance)
Chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
Viral infections and/or diseases
Epliepsy
Pacemaker or major heart problems
Organ transplant
Skin irritation or psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)
Botox in the past two months
Accutane in the past year
Heart Conditions, uncontrollable high blood pressure, poor general health
Any treatments, medications, or illness that compromises the immune system/healing would make you not a good candidate for micro pigmentation procedure.
How is it done?
This PMU procedure consists in a thin liner applied to your own lashes to create a solid lash line that helps make your own lashes appear darker and fuller at the root without an eyeliner look.
How long does it last?
The longevity of your eyeliner depends on your skin, health, and lifestyle. On average your invisible eyeliner will last 1-2 years.
How long does it take?
About 2.5 hours
Will I need more than one session?
Yes, invisible eyeliner is a two part process. A perfecting session is required 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment.
Will I need a driver to my appointment?
No, a driver is not necessary. The swelling is minimal and your vision will not be affected.
How do I prepare before my appointment?
If you have eyelash extensions, please have them removed several days before your appointment and do not replace them until 6 weeks after.
If you use an eyelash enhancement product, like ‘Lash Boost’ or ‘Latisse’, please stop using the product a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your appointment and do not continue using again until 6 weeks after.
On the day of your appointment
Do not wear contact lenses on the day of your appointment.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, blood thinning medications and working out 24 hrs before and after your appointment.
Please arrive to your appointment with no eye make up (specially mascara) or residue on or around your eyes.
Avoid eye drops for 7 days after your appointment, unless your drops are medically critical for your eye heath.
What is the aftercare?
NO NORMAL SHOWERING & SWIMMING : 2 WEEKS
Please understand that chlorinated and salt water will discolor and/or totally remove your pigment. You should do your best to take a bath with lukewarm water NOT HOT WATER, the steam of the hot water will promote color loss. I have found it easiest to take a bath and avoid your face area completely. After your bath, wash the lower part of your face as normal, avoiding your forehead. Use a damp cotton round or wash cloth and carefully wet your forehead. Put face wash on the round and carefully remove dirt and oil. It is best to face directly down at the sink so the water/facewash doesn't run down onto your tattoo.
NEVER EVER EVER PICK, PEEL, RUB, SCRATCH, OR PULL ON SKIN THAT IS FLAKING OFF. YOU SHOULD ALLOW IT TO HEAL, AND FALL OFF NATURALLY.
