Meet Gabriela

I was born and raised in Mexico, and from a young age, I was drawn to art. Growing up, I knew I wanted a creative career, but nothing I loved seemed like a “real job”. So, I decided to study Communications with a focus on Advertising—the most creative path I could find. While in college, I got into makeup and started freelancing in my spare time, which I absolutely loved. But just as I graduated, the pandemic hit. Suddenly, I was stuck in a career limbo—office jobs weren’t for me, and at that time makeup gigs were few and far between.

For months, I felt unsure of what direction to take. I knew I wanted something that allowed me to be creative while also giving me independence, but I didn’t know what that looked like. That’s when I started revisiting an idea that had always intrigued me but also intimidated me: Permanent Makeup (PMU).

After a lot of thought, I finally decided to go for it and here we are!
